We might be a little late to kick off 2025, but what better way to start than with an employee appreciation event hosted right here at Manjal Manor, a cozy and welcoming office party venue in Huntersville, NC.
Just a few weeks ago, Tammy and her colleague Marcie came by for a tour while we were in the middle of adding some big improvements to the venue. They had a lot of questions—and rightfully so—with their event just weeks away, they weren’t sure if everything would be ready by April 6th.
I gave them my word that there wouldn’t be a single eye-sore. I even told them about our upcoming high school prom in mid-April to let them know we were pushing hard to make everything perfect. And to be honest, I can’t even count how many hours we put in day and night to make it all happen in time.
The day before the event, I invited Tammy over to take one final look—and I’ll never forget the smile on her face. I was also waiting for Marcie to see what has been done within a short period. Because, She had her doubts during the tour, and seeing her light up when she saw it all come together was one of those moments I live for.

When the guests arrived, the vibe was just right. Everyone came in comfy clothes. The space was casual, cheerful, and filled with laughter. Families with kids enjoyed the open outdoor areas while adults gathered around playing cornhole, chatting, and dancing to the amazing playlist their DJ put together.
The new add-on cornhole boards were a hit, and the food truck parked nearby made it super convenient for everyone to grab a bite.
This was the first time we hosted a corporate event like this, and it truly set the tone for what’s possible here. As a corporate event space in Huntersville, NC, Manjal Manor offers both indoor and outdoor options that blend perfectly for relaxed office gatherings or more formal setups.
One of my favorite parts of the day? Giving a tour to Zak’s dad—he’s a retired architect. He took his time soaking it all in and had some really thoughtful things to share about the space. We recorded his feedback and plan to share it soon!
Tammy and her boss Zak did a wonderful job setting up the indoor space for snacks and drinks, while the outside was perfect for kids to run around, for games, and of course, for dancing under the cloudy sky.
