Is deposit refundable up to a certain time period?

Your deposit is non-refundable if you cancel or change your plans, because it secures your exclusive reservation of the date and we turn away other inquiries for it. This applies to the 50% deposit, the $1,000 deposit for dates more than 6 months out, and the temporary $500 deposit while we are under construction.

The only exception is if we cannot host your event because of something outside our control (for example construction or permit delays, or a city or government shutdown). Only in that case, this is what happens:

1. We tell you as soon as we know and offer you an open date. A date already booked by another guest cannot be offered.
2. If you accept an open date, your payments move to that date.
3. If you prefer a refund, we refund your payments minus a 15% administrative fee (15% of what you have paid).

This does not apply if you cancel or change your plans for any other reason. In that case your deposit stays non-refundable.

Our only responsibility is the new date or the refund if we cannot host your event. We rent the venue only, so we are not responsible for any other costs associated with your event. We are happy to answer any other questions you have.
